I have been taking photos for more years than Icare to remember !  I ventured into Photography with a Kodak Instamatic when in school and also learned to develop my own black and white photos in those early days - seeing your photos come to life in the Darkroom was magic  !

I took photos of everything and anything in those early days, and still do, and enjoy challenging myself with new genres of photography. I’ve explored Macro photography, Landscape, Wildlife, Travel Photography, Still Life, Night Photography, and Portraiture among others. I’ve spent many happy hours going through my photos and tweaking them with Lightroom and Photoshop  !

I’ve grown up with film and slide photography, and moved to digital in 2000 with an Olympus C3000 – only 3 megapixel but a great camera !  Since then, I’ve owned various Nikon, Canon, and Olympus cameras before moving to a Mirrorless DSLR in 2019 and currently shoot with a SonyA6700.

My core camera kit consists of a Sony A6700 body,Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 general purpose lens, Sony 90mm f/2.8 Macro lens, Sigma100-400mm for wildlife, 50mm f/1.8 for portraiture, along with tripods and monopods, various filters, extension tubes, flash and lighting equipment.
